Disney Hotels

I have already posted a question about the Animal Kingdom hotel and have had informative answers back. If we don't stay at the Animal lodge for the last 3 days of our hols can anyone recommend another good Disney hotel close to the parks? We arrive Dec 1st and leave Dec 15th, 2 adults, 1 John aged 6.

I love the Beach/Yacht Club: beautiful resort, great location (boat ride from Epcot/MGM, walk to Boardwalk/Swan/Dolphin, beautiful seating, close to Fantasia mini golf, gorgeous pool (although maybe not so much of a concern in December...).

All of the hotels around the Boardwalk, (Yacht Club, Beach Club, Boardwalk Inn, Swan and Dolphin) are within walking distance of both Epcot and Disney/MGM as well as all of the facilities of the Boardwalk area itself.

Same response from me, all the hotels around the boardwalk area are great. Handy for Epcot, Downtown Disney, MGM and all the restaurants etc in that area.

I love the Epcot resorts as well. If you are more concerned with close proximity to the MK, a monorail hotel would be great. That would be the Grand Floridian, Contemporary or the Polynesian. The Wilderness Lodge is nice also, less expensive and just a short boat ride from the MK. These are all in the "deluxe" catagory.

Another vote for Yacht and Beach Club.. Both beautiful resorts and location.
