Disney Hotels - Pay when checked in?

Hi guys!

When staying at a Disney hotel, do they charge your credit cards/Disney giftcards when you book your hotel OR at the end of your trip?

Do you mean for the room charges themselves? We have always had the room charge either paid in advance or paid when we checked in. Then incidentals/charges in the parks they will go to their limit (varies by hotel class) and then run a charge for the $500 or whatever at a time.

If you are booking a room only reservation you pay a deposit equal to a one nights stay and upon check IN your full balance is due.

We were required to pay our room in full 45 days prior to arrival. Just paid it yesterday.

That is the deadline for vacation packages. Room only pay the deposit and then the balance at check in as described above.
