On the side of the Raisin Bran box it explains you can use 100 of the kellogg kash coupons for a one night stay at the All Star resorts. Start eating cereal! LOL

Is it specially marked boxes? How many points on one box? Is it possible that you need 100 boxes for one free night? If you got them for 2.00 ea that would be 200.00 for 100 boxes. Since you can get an AS for 79.00 I am wondering if this is as good as it sounds?! Thanks for the info!

I guess if you eat cereal anyway, why not? You're getting food as well as the free night.

Figures, it's the "gross" cereals, lol! Why couldn't they put them in the Disney/Kellogg's cereal, we eat A LOT of those, love my Mickey's Magix!!!!
And am I correct to understand it's auction style? Bummer, I never win those!

Here's more stuff from the site:

[They are auctions, but you only need Kellogg's Kash to cover the min. bid. Anything over that you can put on your credit card. It also looks like they post the current winning bidders and what they're bidding. I haven't looked at it all too closely because I don't eat any of those cereals.]

Q. Is there a minimum bid for auction items? Back to Top

Yes. Each item in the auction area will be subject to a minimum bid, which will be posted at the site. Remember that each Official KELLOGG KASH™ Certificate is worth $1.00 toward the purchase of an Auction Item at the online auction, and has no other cash value. You must have enough Official KELLOGG KASH™ Certificates to cover the minimum bid.

Q. Is there a maximum bid limit? Back to Top

There is no maximum total bid, but you must bid at least $1.00 (One Dollar) more than the previous bid to continue bidding. You may not bid more than 25% (Twenty-Five Per Cent) above the last bid for all Auction Items on which the bidding has exceeded $4 (Four Dollars). Non-conforming bids will be rejected.

Q. What if I don't have enough Kellogg Kash™ certificates to cover the minimum bid? Back to Top

Sorry, you are ineligible to bid on that Auction Item. You must have enough Official KELLOGG KASH™ Certificates to at least cover the minimum bid amount posted for the Auction Item. We reserve the right to disqualify anyone who fails to return the minimum number of Official KELLOGG KASH™ Certificates listed for the Auction Item, refuse to redeem the Auction Item, and close down your account.

Q. What if I don't have enough official Kellogg Kash™ certificates to pay for the auction item in full? Back to Top

As long as you have enough Official KELLOGG KASH™ Certificates to cover the minimum bid amount for the Auction Item you want, you may participate in the auction. If you are the successful bidder, we will charge the difference between the number of Official KELLOGG KASH™ Certificates you return (each Certificate is worth One Dollar ($1.00) towards the purchase of Auction Items at www.kelloggkash.com) and your total bid amount to the credit card you provided when you opened your account.

I wanted to add that the only thing anyone is bidding on so far is the character breakfast certs. Wonder if that person read the rules, 'cause they're winning two certs at $20 each. I can't believe they've eaten 40 boxes of cereal already.

I you wanted anything else, right now you have a pretty good chance of getting it.

Do the certificates have an expiration date?

And does the hotel stay say anything about a limit to the number of nights you can use to "pay" for and All Star room with KASH?

Thanks!

Lori

I think the promotion runs through 12-31-04, but I don't know about the actual certs or the number of rooms.

I saw the side of the Rasin Bran box about the All Stars and it says max of 2 nights for free with the "kash" certificates. We actually are fans of Frosted Mini Wheats, yes even my 2 girls love them, but I do not think I buy 100 boxes a year of all the cereal we eat. But I guess you can ask everyone you know to help you save up.

Just my $.02, but what if we all saved them anyway, then whoever isn't going to use theirs, swap them on the board? I would be willing to swap mine for other things like PurinaOne weight circles...

.....(Is this allowed?)

I think there is a post at the top of the Community board about this sort of swapping thing that you should read!!

The person might only have one certificate and being paying cash for the rest. The certs are equiv. to a dollar, so they may have one cert and paying $19 cash.

I am an avid coupon user, and the cheapest I have found the cereal so far is for $1.00 a box (my stores double to a dollar). In some areas though, you might be able to get it free after coupons, then it would be a great deal!

The way I understood it, is that you have to have the minimum number of KASH dollars to bid. If you don't send in enough to meet the minimum, then you forfit your win. If you don't have enough total, but have the minimum bid, then you can pay cash for the rest.

Boy, did that make sence?
