How strict is Disney on the ages of people in the rooms? I am planning on booking 3 rooms for my bridal party and parents and grandparents for day of the wedding to get ready it, but plan on booking two rooms for the remainder of the time. I have no idea who all will be staying in those rooms and we probably will not be decided until after the other guests arrive after I have already checked in. Most are going to be under 18, but if we have a few that are over 18 do we have to go down to the desk and pay the extra fews if they have decided to sleep overnight?

You've got a lot going on in your question. First off - Congratulations and Best of Luck:hug: .Since you don't know who will be in what room now but want to book, I would suggest booking one room in your name, one in your mom's and one in your grandmother's. Disney can be strict about their policies and sometimes what they don't know... Policies are in place for a reason - to keep people safe in case of emergency. I'm sure they deal with this type of request frequently so Central Reservations would be the best place to book when you are ready. Just explaine your situation and you should be able to call closer to your date to "add" someone onto your reservation. It's all about room keys and maximum room allowances

Policies and ways to get around them are a hot topic here:headache: so I'm not going to remind you of that old addage about what they don't know...

Good luck.popcorn::

Sorry, my question is very confusing. My grandparents and parents will also have their own rooms, I just need enough space on the day of the wedding to fit everyone in 3 rooms. I need to have the 2 rooms for the rest of the trip in my name since I need to have adjoining rooms and my fiance's younger sisters are going to be staying with me (more than likely). I am not trying to have a large amount of people in the rooms or break any firecodes or anything like that. I am concerned for when we get there and there may be additional people staying in the rooms and just don't know if we have to go down to the front desk and stuff to add them to the room or if it really doesn't matter. I honestly have never heard of a hotel needing everyone's name who is staying in the hotel and my fiance's mother is kind of freaked out by that for some reason.

We did the same thing for a wedding a couple of years ago - it was basically a dressing room that eneded up as a utility room - didn't need it for sleeping (but I think someone did sleep there) and needed another BR. Like I said before, don't sweat it.

First, congratulations. Second, it's great that you are even concerned about if anyone extra over the age of 18 will be staying in the room overnight and you are willing to pay for it.

But you have a ton of other much more important things to worry about now. Leave this one go for now. Let things happen and deal with it on that day. If you feel that you should alert Disney World about the extra people over the age of 18, then do it then. Honestly, this should be at the very, very bottom of your list of "to do's" right now.

You are exactly right, but im a worrier and with a Disney wedding all the major planning doesnt happen until the 6th month mark so I am worrying about all the little stuff now haha. Thank you so much for the advice and I will put that at the bottom of my list! :rotfl:

Congrads !:cloud9: Book them how you think they need to be booked etc. If more than 2 adults you will have to pay for the extras but don't sweat the small stuff. I know easy for us to say this. Where are you planning on staying?? Good luck with the planning. :goodvibes
