in order to do a honeymoon registry do you have to book a honeymoon package through disney, if so what is including and how much?

Hello!
You don't have to book a "honeymoon package" - just a honeymoon. Basically, all you need is your WDW owned and operated resort reservation # and you'll be all set. Your reservation can be a honeymoon package, any Magic Your Way package, or just a room-only.

I even registered our family holiday as it is for my son's birthday and as we are from Australia, it is a great way for people to give him birthday presents he can use to have fun at Disney! Essentially it is now a birthday registry for him! Haven't had a problem and I certainly have not booked an actual honeymoon!
