Hi everyone!

So, I was told that THIS is the place to come for help...

We are going on our honeymoon in August and I would love to make some rockin disney bride/groom t-shirts for us to wear. The problem is, they have to be really cool and different for my future husband to even BEGIN to agree to wearing them! (You ladies know what I mean!)

I'm thinking the typical Mickey and Minnie bride and groom are totally out. Any other ideas? He is 24, I'm 30. He loves Grumpy and Star Wars. I am cool with whatever...anything that will make him happy.

Please help! Thanks so much to you all!

Here's something I just came up with as not being cutesy.

Would your husband wear a shirt with a witty statement? You wouldn't think of Grumpy as being celebratory, so it could be funny. Or is that too cutesy?

Do you want your shirts to be matching? Or would you like a cute girly shirt? Who are your favorite characters? Any color preferences?

okay. you're awesome.

holy crap!!

a funny or witty statement could work...

i have no idea what i would want for myself...i'm thinking something complimentary but not necessarily matching, if that makes sense. i love goofy and dopey. gosh, i love them all really!

thank you a million times over!

So how would i get this turned into a shirt? (im not too crafty...can you tell? :) )

So sorry for the delay - I lost track of the thread!

Well, you need iron-on tee-shirt transfers. You can purchase these at Walmart or Michael's. If you want the best quality, AmyMickey's (M I C K E Y on Dis) dark transfers are said to be the best. I recently used some from printonit.com, and they worked great (didn't have to flip the design before printing).

These designs are easy for tee-shirts. Just print the design onto the transfer paper (you need an inkjet printer for this). You may or may not need to do a "mirror image" of the design, depending on what transfers you use. Be sure to read the transfer instructions before printing. Then, you cut along the design (that's why these are easy - no tough edges to cut around), then iron them onto the shirt (read transfers instructions before doing this, too). Be sure to wash the shirts before you iron on the design!

Are these designs okay? Would you like me to add "August 2010" to the "happier than i look" shirt?
