I believe it works just about anywhere. However if it doesn't work you could charge it to your room and pay your bill with your gift card at the hotel.

Although I think I heard you can't pay for tours but I'm not 100% about that. I do know you have to pay for the tour when you book it.

i think you would have to be able to buy tours? since tours are listed as items on the registry? i havent used it yet obviously? so im curious as to the answers as well

also-it seems like if people give you money towards your tickets or room and you have already paid you can apply it to your room and they will reimburse your credit card---again i could be reading the website wrong but im pretty sure thats how it went

Well essentially what they give you is a cash card. You get a card with $XXX amount of money and you can spend it on anything you like. You don't HAVE to use the money for what people "bought" you. I believe the tours have to be booked on a CC and they won't take the gift card over the phone. I'm not 100% but I remember someone awhile ago talking about it.

I also like going on a 'buying' myself a gift because it was an easy way to save for the trip.
