need quick help for Disneyworld homeschool days

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The webpage says that the the tickets are valid 7 days prior to your arrival date and 7 days after your departure date. What?????? Are they talking about 7 days prior to the beginning of the homeschool days and 7 days after the homeschool days are over? So I would have a total of 15 days or so to use my park days????

I e-mailed Disney asking for clarification a week ago and I finally received an answer which stated:

Your tickets will be vaild 7 days before your main arrival date and 7
days after your main departure date based on what you enter when you
register and purchase the tickets. Hope this helps, if you have anymore
questions just let us know.

Thank you!

This answer was not helpful at all. It was as unclear as the posting on the webpage!

So should I put my arrival date (which is required to purchase the tickets) as the date of the homeschool programs? And I can actually visit any park seven days prior to my arrival date AND seven days after my departure date????

I need to know specifics so I don't waste my money. We can only visit on the weekends and we don't want to pay for a 5 day ticket if all of the days must be used within 7 days.

The homeschool program is January 24th-January 26th. Should I put my arrival date as the 24th(the date of the first homeschool event)? My family could visit the magic kingdom on the 17th, the 23rd, the 24th, and the 30th(with a 5 day ticket homeschool family ticket). Is this possible????

I have to register for the tickets at least 7 days prior to arrival which means this weekend if we can visit next Sunday.

This is what it means...

I put in arrival date 1/19/10 departure date 1/29/10 These are our actual dates.
SO our tickets say valid one week prior, 1/12/10 and one week after, 2/5/10.

Stamped on our tickets "Valid 1/12/10-2/5/10". So they will be valid seven days prior to what you put as arrival and valid 7 days after what you put as arrival.

Hope this helps explain.

If you want to visit parks the 17th and 30th then make those your arrival and departure dates and you know that you are covered.
