Disney Hollywood Studios: ALL POSTAL!!!!

Ooh!! I get a Pixar Place one!! YAY!!

We decided today to cancel our March trip--not really thrilled with that idea, but it'll let us pay off some more stuff and also, we can use the DVC pts we save and have a one-bedroom in October. So, now that gives me even more fun time to catch everything up and use all this great stuff in my October album!! :dance3:

Everyone's pieces are turning out so nice! I dont get those cute monkeys tho!
But did I think to take pictures of that~No! I think of all the parks thats where we took the least photos!
I didnt like how my first set of GMR turned out so Im now on my second set which is better. But I will not post tomorrow like planned. I hope to post on Monday. My favorite ride at DGS is giving me the most problems!:scared1:

Mine are finally all finished. I will get them out in the mail Monday and work on taking some pics to post.

Susan - what font is that pixar place? Cart or scal?

I am checking in - I only have a few groups to do but the between the puppy and being at wrestling every night my swap work has not progressed as I'd like :)

I will get them done on time and drop them off right about the due date - changing jobs and traveling week of Jan 19th and not checking luggage I think so I can't take my scrappy stuff (scissors not favored on planes) :(

You can take small scissors- they just have to have blades shorter than 4 inches.

How about a cutter (I can't think of the name of this thing now) - the fiskars paper trimmer thing? really small blade.

It should go through they let you take razors now and you can do a lot more with a razor than a paper trimmer- call your airlines to be sure (so you don't have to give it up at security but it should survive the new rules.

I have to travel a lot for my schooling/business. Most trips are for the weekend or 3 days, so I always do carry on. Last year, on one of quick jaunts to D.C., I took some of my scrap stuff to work on because I knew I would have some breaks in the day to have actual free time. Well, I knew not to pack liquid glue, so I took my Dotto. I knew not to take scissors, so I cut everything before I left. For some of the smaller things, I ran them through the Xyron for easy carry and glueing. But to get rid of some of the glue-strings from the Xyron sheet, I always run a stylus around the edges of my pieces before I pull off the top plastic layer. So I took my stylus to do it there without thinking that it's one of those tool taxi - that under the stylus is the X-acto knife!!! :scared1: Guess when I remembered it??? When I put my carry on up on the belt to be x-rayed. I thought first, oh great, they are going to detain me for trying to smuggle a X-acto knife onto the plane. Then I thought, oh man, they are going to take it from me and I won't be able to do my scrapping in D.C. :lmao: I was more upset by the latter than the former. So you know I am a true scrapper!!! But going to D.C. and coming back, they never once blinked what was in my bag. Maybe the X-acto knife doesn't show up on the x-ray machine?!?!? But now, I don't scrap on my trips - I find other things to keep me occupied in the free time - like reading.

I'm checking in for Michi Belle - her internet is out again. She says she has all her supplies and ideas - just needs to finish the last group for the school swap, and she will start this swap tomorrow. :)

Okie Dokie here we go.....

For Group D:

I got the idea from a picture of the "playhouse" disney at DHS. You can take the "live on stage" part off
and put the mickey ears in the corner like they do on the show.

For Group K1:

I tried to make a replica of Andys toy box. I used the cricut and manipulated it a little.

For Group G1:

This was the hardest one for me to do. I used the cricut and did a lot of cutting on the garage pattern trying
to get it to look like the one at DHS.

These are all really cute. I am jealous I am not in this swap, but have to catch up on scrapping.

NemoMom- Where did yo get that Coke paper and stickers. DH took me to the Coke museum in Atlanta and those would be very cute

Thanks. I got all the coke stuff at ACM last year when they were clearing them out. I have seen some of the epoxy stickers and bottle caps there, but the paper is gone at the ACM I go to.
