disney hilton head resort vs marriott beach and golf resort

Hi everyone
We're spending a week at the HHI resort this august. I'm debating splitting up the time with a few days at marriott beach and golf resort. Anybody stay at this place? How does it compare with the disney resort?

While I like the location of the Marriott, I prefer the amenities of a timeshare. Unless you're tied to the beach, I'd go with DVC over the Marriott (Formerly Hyatt) hotel, even for a studio. Now if you have Marriott reward points to use, it might be worth it. Overall I prefer the Marriott timeshares that are on the beach for HH because you have the quality, amenities and beach location.

The Westin is the nicest full service, beach-front hotel on island. You may want to look into a split stay there.
