Disney Hawaiian Shirts - Where are They?

I see pixar hawaiian shirts all the time on ebay, but nowhere else?

Where are they coming from?
Are they limited release at the parks?
Anyway to know when they are coming out and order them?

I have seen them at the Disney Store, and there are a couple at the Magic Kingdom when we went last month.

I haven't looked, but I suspect that the Disney Aulani resort probably has some, though not sure if they are being sold online.

Disney has a relationship with two designers based in Hawaii. One is Reyn Spooner, who makes a lot of limited edtions (Pixar's John Lasseter is a big fan). They may sell on their own website, but they will be pricey.

The other designer is Crazy Shirts, but those are t-shirts and long sleeve crews. Some of those Disney designs are pretty cool, though, and a little more reasonable price-wise.

Hi. They USED to be on the Reyn Spooner site but sadly they no longer make/sell them. Initially Reyn was only found in the parks with the Disney designs/characters. Then Spooner moved to selling them on their own website as well as at the Disney parks and every now and then on the Disneystores website.

Currently you'll only find the rare and usually limited edition Hawaiian shirts in the parks....maybe a new print every few years and done by whatever company comes along I assume. The maker has been pretty random the last few years.

Over the past 15 or so yrs we've collected probably 20 designs, all of them quite fun and creative. They really stand out on a rack when you can find them. The Pixar ones are THE hardest to find as those are very limited. One of the last ones sold in the parks might still be available in scattered stores thru WDW...and that one was a cool limey green retro design shirt by the artist Shag. That's one of the nicer ones we found and is wearing well!

I think I've seen them pretty often on Ebay. Apparently there are people who are able to buy stacks of them when they come out and then resell them on ebay.
