Disney has amazing customer service!!!

Wasn't sure where to post this so I did it here:)

Last month in disney my husband bought me a Disney Harvey seatbelt purse at a store in DTD. The bag is supposed to be indestructable and has a life time warranty...I really loved this bag.

Fast forward about 2 weeks and my bag is starting to rip at the seam by the zipper:scared1:
I called Disney and gave them my receipt number, name and address info.

They sent me a brand new 159$ bag in a week without asking for the old one back!!!! Who does this??? Only in Disney:thumbsup2

I am thinking about trying to get the bag fixed and giving it to one of my disney lover friends.
 
I love hearing stories like this, there has been a lot of negativity on these boards lately about how Disney Customer Service has gone "down hill". I for one have not seen or encountered that personally. Disney's Customer Service is one of the major reasons why my family goes back to Disney year after year. I am so happy that they were able to help you out with your problem :goodvibes

Thanks for sharing this. We have for the most part encountered some really great CMs and they have bent over backwards to be helpful and courteous. I find myself comparing their CS to other businesses, and it would be rare to run across any others equal. Chick Fil A, a fast food place in mostly southern states, is only place I can compare these days.

I just got back from AKV from a 6 day trip and let me tell you, the cast members were phenomenal all the way around. It's my fault for not starting a similar thread. I saw LOTS of guests behaving badly but the Cast Members were top notch.

I'm not saying that there aren't bad cast members - what, Disney emploiys 60,000 people? There's a pretty good chance that there is at least one bad apple in the barrel.

Great story and thanks SO much for sharing. That is the Disney customer service that all Disney lovers are familiar with. I am glad to hear that it is still happening on a daily basis.
