disney guide tour book advice needed

Can someone please tell me if they have purchased the guide book called "disney& orlando on $25 a day. It was written by Kelly Goode. Im curious if this guide is as good as it says it is or if its just some scam on the net.Can not find any reviews on it on the net.

If you can't find it on Amazon.com, it probably is a self-published book. I wouldn't get it. Mousesavers.com has a lot of information as well as this board.

The best tour book is the Unoffical Guide to WDW. There is also a Cheapskate's Guide to Disney World that has budget tips. I have found both of these at our public library--so saved money there.

Unofficial Guide is great!!! Very informative. I have read many, the official, Orlando for Dummies, Passporter(great for 1st timers!), a few others I can't remember. The Unofficial Guide, IMHO, is the best "one stop" guide for any/all Disney information.

Since we are on the budget board, I would suggest going to your library and see what they have. Our library has most of them and keep them up to date! You can never have too much information about Disney!

If you want to purchase, check out overstock.com---I've been pretty impressed with their prices. Wish I had bought the UG there (didn't know about it then), but did get Passporter for our Disney cruise. As someone who likes to sleep with my Disney guidebooks next to my bed, owning is better than borrowing! But I did start off with borrowing just to find out if I'd like the book well enough to buy it.

If you do get the $25. per day book, please let us know what you think of it!!!

I would suggest not getting it. If you can't find anything on it than I would be wary. If you do get it though, let us know what you think. I 'd be interested to know what you can do for $25 a day in WDW!!

I just have to say....I hate the Unofficial Guide. I love the work Len Testa did on queuing theory, the rest of the book I despise. Bought it to get the queuing theory stuff, and because so many people here love that book. I think its overly negative. Its poorly designed and badly organized for my needs. In places its just plain wrong - and those errors seem more frequent than the other major books. He presents opinion as fact. The book is too long, and most of it has been written by people sending in comments!

So, before you invest in any book, check them out at the library, or plan to spend an hour in a chair at Barnes and Noble browsing them. Just because someone else loves (or hates) a book doesn't mean it will be the book for you.
