it was a golf that a boardwalk cm was using to remove trash he parked it to perform his job and they took it from their. the ocso deputies on patrol spotted them and the driver did have a beer in his hand thankfully no one was coming in a survey bike or their could of been head on crash.
A couple of years ago I was chatting with one of the cast members at one of the Disney golf courses. He was telling me about a golf cart that was stollen from Ft. Wilderness. They were caught after they got home because the cart was equiped with GPS so it was easy to track.
How embarrassing to get arrested at WDW for something like that. Can you get banned from WDW for something like this? And if so, can you imagine their kids: "We can't go to WDW because Daddy got drunk, stole a golf cart, went on a chase and was arrested!"?
Oh for sure you can, you can be banned for a lot less than this. Grand theft is a pretty hefty charge. These two have definitely been banned. Wonderful souvenirs, banning from Disney and grand theft charges.
And just out of curiosity- how difficult is it to really be banned from the parks? I mean- in thinking about it, I did all the planning and booking for my husband. He never once showed ID etc. I'd imagine there are many ways around this.
The point of a banning is to make it easy for Disney to charge a person who has been banned with criminal trespass if they are ever found on property. That's a huge risk and you definitely don't want the criminal record and possible jail time. Now the two merry makers in this story would definitely not want to be return because they would really get the book thrown at them. No more Disney vacations for them.
