Disney Gives Us the Warm Fuzzies - Take Two. TRIP REPORT HAS BEGUN! 1/20 Pg. 92

Mod Floral Pink is one of my favorites! I have it in the Villager and Hipster. The pink and brown are so pretty together. :goodvibes

The Fish and Chips does look yummy!! I will eat at R&C at some point!! I will, I will!! Now that I hear you, Jen and Christine raving about it I really wish it had fit into our schedule for Jan :( But, I couldn't give up my Le Cellier ADR!

Vera, oh Vera! Why are you so addictive and why must we want more and more of your bags?! I'm big on buying them from ebay unless they're on sale locally!! My sister can get them really cheap at the naval exchange too!

Can't wait for more food!!! :lmao:

I am so far behind on the Dis but I had to pop in and tell you that I bought A Catch Of Consequence and am :lovestruc loving:lovestruc it!!!!!

Fish and chips -- nummy, nummy, nummy! I wish I was having those for lunch today!

Yeay for a new Vera! Do we get pics of it soon?

Jen, you crack me up with your Mary Poppins bags for layers. Hopefully it will be nice and warm the whole time you are there.
I wish I was having them today too! YUM! The Vera is sitting at the Post Office waiting to be picked up since it wouldn't fit in my teeny mailbox. Marc is going to brave the crowds for me tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get some pictures this weekend! :thumbsup2

Ohh..the fish and chips look good too...you ladies have good taste in food! Woohoo for a new parks bag! I'm hoping to get a baggalini or something similar under the Christmas tree, but if I don't I may have to splurge. :rolleyes1: What is a Mary Poppins bag?
Oh, the Mary Poppins bag is a wonderful backpack that can fit ANYTHING in it. It got it's name because when we were in Disney in May, I would say I needed something....let's say tylenol and Jen would dig in that bag until she came up with it. It held EVERYTHING. And she totally looked like Mary Poppins digging through it. :rotfl2:

The Mary Poppins Bag is what we affectionately call my Jansport backpack I take with me! It got its lovely name from Leslie and I's May trip when we found out that I can fit about everything but a lamp (and I might be able to do that too) into my backpack...and yes we even put a plant in it LOL!!!!!
I totally forgot about the plant! :rotfl2:
Mmmmm those fish and chips sure do look tasty!
I don't know if I told you that I tweaked some reservations for May seeing that I was enabled to add on a day and then I was enabled to eat at Rose and Crown :rolleyes1 :rotfl: Bring on the Yorkshire!!

:yay: for the new Vera...I think that park bags are a close second to food!

I don't remember the creme brulee at Jiko being over pistacho y. My niece had some kind of chocolate concoction with lavender ice cream. Let me tell you that ice cream was soooooo good!! Plus it was purple...who doesn't love purple ice cream?

Tracy
I'm so glad you are eating at Rose & Crown, you will not be disappointed! I've had two wonderful meals there and I'm so ready for my third!

I totally plan on getting that chocolate doohickey with lavender ice cream! :yay:

You did NOT put a plant in your backpack...:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Too funny.
Oh yes she did!

If you ladies can put up with talk of chonies, poofin and other bodily function, I can put up with a little bag talk.
That's right you can! :rotfl2:

Oh those Fish and Chips look YUMMY right now!

I agree with the need for a Mary Poppins bag in Jan. I had one for layers in Feb and it was well used!

new park bag! :thumbsup2

Of course I'm also a big fan of lockers.
I haven't figured out where I'm going to put my layers yet. Bah. I'm just going to deal with it when the time comes. :rolleyes1

Oh yes she did!

I'm hungry and your fish and chips are not helping!
I'm sorry. You can go order some in a few days! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Too funny about the Mary Poppins bag! I'm either going to have to learn to pack better or take less, I think. Otherwise I'll be toting around a 20 lb backpack! My family calls my purses "the bottomless pit" because of all the stuff I lug around. We're having fish for dinner tonight and it's all you ladies' fault!
I hope your fish and chips were yummy!

I WAS planning on the fish and chips at R&C in May but with all this talk, I think you have convinced me to go with the one with yorkshire pudding even though I'm not sure I really understand what it is (it does come with a fish too right?)

I don't think I commented yesterday but I LOVE the food countdown!
See, I don't know if I can eat what comes with the Yorkshire Pudding...I think it comes with a roast but then again there may be a surf and turf type option with the yorkshire pudding too. I'm going to ask for a side of it I think.

I did!!! I got a butterfinger cupcake and a chai. All that sugar was probably not the best way to start the morning. Here's the website: http://www.crumbs.com
They have the some of the best cupcakes ever. I  Crumbs!!!

The fish and chips looks very good.

Yay to a new bag! Mod floral pink is a pretty pattern. There are a bunch of things on sale on the Vera Bradley website. It's quite tempting.
I want a cupcake....NOW.

Vera Bradley is always tempting to me, I have to avoid the website at all costs.

I love the combination of pink and brown to begin with and I've been eyeing this pattern for awhile now.

The Fish and Chips does look yummy!! I will eat at R&C at some point!! I will, I will!! Now that I hear you, Jen and Christine raving about it I really wish it had fit into our schedule for Jan :( But, I couldn't give up my Le Cellier ADR!

Can't wait for more food!!! :lmao:
I might like Rose & Crown just a teeny bit more than Le Cellier. :rolleyes1

They are so addictive! It's ridiculous!

I am so far behind on the Dis but I had to pop in and tell you that I bought A Catch Of Consequence and am :lovestruc loving:lovestruc it!!!!!
Oh, I'm so glad you are enjoying it! :yay:

Has The "Plant in the Mary Poppins Backpack" story been told? I can't remember it....share, share! :rotfl:

I'm so glad you were able to elaborate on your dream...and that you added the day! :yay: Congratulations!!!

I also LOVE the food countdown idea...yummy!!

I look forward to seeing your new bag purchase! :goodvibes

Okay...The Plant in the Mary Poppins Backpack Story. Do you remember that little plant I bought at Living in the Land back in May. The plant with a naughty name? :rotfl2: It was in a little glass jar, and it was grown from cells instead of a seed. Well they wouldn't deliver back to the room since it's a living thing so Jen kindly offered the backpack. So we packed it up nicely so the glass jar wouldn't break and she carried it around for me.

I'm so excited for this trip. I really need to get away. I mean, I know I had four weeks off for my surgery but that is a different kind of break. I didn't really get to enjoy myself. I need this vacation.....NOW.

28 Days until Disney World Warm Fuzzies.

Figaro Fries!

figarofries3.jpg

I've been wanting to try Figaro Fries since I joined the DIS but I haven't had the chance yet. Me too!!! If I'm not mistaken this was on our list in May and it might have been on my list in October...we need to make sure we get over there and share these!!!! They were totally on our list in May. I think they were on my list in September 2008 too. We have to make them a priority!

The first picture is how they used to be served with the lettuce and tomato. The second picture is how they are served now. Personally, I like the way they are served now because I would have been asking for the lettuce and tomato to be left off. I have heard that they will give you the lettuce and tomato on the side though so that's awesome for those who want them like that. Or for Jen and I to share since she can put the lettuce and tomato on her portion. Yes I do want the lettuce and tomato....I love both those things LOL!

We're planning to get these on our MK day. We have A LOT of MK snacks planned, I don't know how we are going to get them all in. We might have to take some to go to enjoy later on back in our room. I really have no problem with this plan :rotfl2: Disney food is always yummy!!

I have wanted to try Figaro Fries, too, but never seem to manage getting them. Maybe this next trip! They do look yummy, and I am with Jen, I would want the lettuce and tomato.

I'm all about the tomato stack at Le Cellier!! I LOVE fresh tomatoes!

HOLY MOLY! Where do I find Figaro Fries?! I haven't heard of them before!!! I want them!! I'd love the cheese, bacon and tomatoes all together! Yummy!

Now I'm hungry!

Oh MAN do those look delicious!! *wheres the lick-my-lips emoticon?!*

I assume those are at Pinocchio's Village Haus?

Wow. Those look yummy~~~

I might have to put those on my list for sometime. I've never been to Pinnochio's. The only CS in MK I've ever been to is Pecos Bill's. Maybe I should branch out a bit, huh?

I've never tried Figaro Fries. Is that ground beef on the fries? Or bacon?
It looks like nachos. I may need to try them, with lettuce and tomato.

Those fries look yummy! They're looking like they may make the snack list for our MK day, as a matter of fact. Will just have to get the l & t on the side. I loooove tomatoes, but my freakish princess only eats tomatoes in sauces..grr! LOL. Can't wait to see the bag pics :)

See, I don't mind tomatoes or lettuce but only on very specific things. :rotfl2:
I'm all about the tomato stack at Le Cellier!! I LOVE fresh tomatoes!

Pinocchio's Village Haus in Magic Kingdom. :thumbsup2

You would be correct. We need to find a lick my lips emoticon! :rotfl2:

Yes, branch out! Cream Cheese Pretzels and Figaro Fries for everyone! :rotfl2:

It's bacon. Mmmmmm.

I didn't like tomatoes until I got older, there is hope for her!

I feel so bad that I missed out on my chance for Figaro Fries and the cream cheese pretzel on my last trip. Next time for sure!!

We got to meet Mary Poppins this trip and after the girls had their picture, she looked at my teeny purse and said, "My, that's a small carpet bag, however do you fit everything in it?" I replied, "My husband carries the big one" (the backpack). I should have said, it's magic like yours.

Whoa!!!! Those fries look amazing! I will take one with lettuce and tomato and one without to do my scientific comparison.
We are doing a lot of Yorkshire pudding enabling! :rotfl:
I forgot what print you said you got so when I was home last night I noticed I have the Hipster and a large tote in the Mod Floral Pink! Good choice! Pretty sad when I don't know what I have :sad2:

Tracy

Figaro fries is on my snack list too! Like you, I wanted to try them before but never seemed to squeeze them in.

Lettuce and tomato for me please :thumbsup2

I hope you're vacation is everything you want it to be Leslie and I agree, having time off because of surgery is NOT the same as vacation. After my gangrene appendix, I had time off, but I was so tired all I did was sleep (not that sleeping is a bad thing either..;))

Those fries...mmmmmm...lettuce.meh....tomatoes..:thumbsup2

Oh my...this is a fun way to count down...:lmao:

That cheesecake looks absolutely yum...love the fish and chips...(have a good place for fish & chips in New York and Alexandria, VA...if you ever happen to need it...:lmao:) ...I have to think about the Figaro fries...I'm kind of a fry purist...thin, golden, salty and crispy-no toppings usually...but I might have to give those a try next time...;)

Ok Since LL you are the Christmas Nazi...:lmao:...I have two questions...

Christmas Dinner: I am caught between a ham and a Rib Roast...?

Tree: We are supposed to go on Saturday...(and its supposed to snow here...:cool1:)...tall and thin or shorter and rounder...?

Ah oh wise one...I await your Christmas advice...
