I'm thinking our Easter baskets this year will be all Disney stuff for our June trip, including:

Character fanny packs or bags for each kid
Autograph books
Lanyards with starter pins (maybe - this could get expensive!)
Disney clothes
Sunglasses

Other suggestions?

Since it's Easter maybe some Disney-themed candy? I know I always see Disney candy themed for whichever holiday is coming up at Walgreens! It might not last until the June trip but it could be something they could enjoy now :)

Maybe Disney pens/coloring or activity books to do on the way to DLR (depending on how old your kids are).

Their favorite character plush toy for cuddling :goodvibes

I have had great luck with the lanyards at Party City. They are child/youth sized (meaning they don't hang to her knees) and they are sturdy enough that we are able to clip a light-up wand or one of the "I'm Celebrating" buttons to the end. DD5 has worn hers for two trips now. The best part? They are $.99!

We also got DD5 some light up toys. She loves having her arms full of glow bracelets.

Perhaps a new water bottle for Disney?

We are telling our 2 dd's about our trip at Easter and instead of baskets, we are getting them each a new Disney themed suitcase.

Definitely check at Target if you have one near you...the front section with the $1 items. It's sometimes hit or miss what they have there, but I found a ton of great Disney themed things when we went for our trip...CARS and Princess markers, activity/coloring books, etc. I'm sure they have cute Easter things as well right now!

I bought a 99 cent lanyard from the local dollar store. I then bought 20 pins from Ebay for $14 plus shipping (seller was pin pointe). The pins were Disney pins in great condition and included a cute assortment of pins. I found that 10 pins filled up a child sized lanyard. My daughter is almost 5 and loved pin trading this year. It was so fun!

As for other ideas, glow bracelets or toys are a great idea, Walmart disney clothes which are so much cheaper than those that you buy in the park, books, activity sets, anything Disney that you can find! Have fun!

Wow what a great idea! I'm a big fan of gifting items the would need to be purchased anyway, that way the kids have more things to "open" :) Are you flying? If so you could get them things for the plane, like snacks, travel games or candy. Also sometimes you can find cheap Disney bath/travel sets for kids that have things like a toothbrush, hair brush, cup and soap case (for the hotel room). Not sure if any posters suggested pajamas already.. and I second a small stuffed toy. They make a nice centerpiece in a basket. You already have bunch of great ideas though! :thumbsup2

Disney gift cards for spending money in the park! (I'd suggest Disney Dollars instead, but you can't buy these outside the park anymore)

Let's see, what else...

pressed penny books
a nice fat (easier for characters to hold) ballpoint pen to go with the autograph book
gift cards to use on the trip or outside the park (McDonald's, Denny's)
gift cards for buying things in Downtown Disney (Build-a-Bear, Lego Store)

Lat year I made Disney themed Easter baskets for my lil' one and niece and was able to find a lot of cute things on eBay that I wouldn't normally find at stores in my area. I did searches such as, "Disney easter"/"Disney easter basket" or narrowed it down to "Disney easter girl"/"Disney easter toddler". It'll bring back a lot of results, but if you have the time, you can definitely find some good gifts.

You may also want to try the Disney store - they have cute Easter baskets right now.

Also, if you have a Hallmark in your area, they have a "Don't Pull My Ear's Donald Duck" that walks and squawks. I got this last year for my DD and she loved it. Here's the link:

Enjoy putting the baskets together!!! :)

OMG that is the CUTEST thing I can't wait to get that for my 2 yo niece!!!! I will be hunting for Donald this weekend for sure!!!!

I was just checking Ebay for Disney stuff - I always buy souvenirs in advance so we don't have to get too much stuff in the parks ;)

I think the pins are a great idea, the other big thing to trade right now is Vinylmations. They are small Mickey shaped figures painted like other characters and a ton of other things. I got DD a couple from the online DS, they have some on sale for $5.99.

I also got her some Disney silly bandz - on Ebay they are a lot cheaper than on the DS. Found some from her favorite movie (Monster's Inc) and got her a Mickey and Pals set. The DS does have a DLR set and a super cute WDW set - I'll probably get those as well since we are going to WDW next Spring.

Disney music cds are also a good idea or you can download some songs and make your own family mix - you can do park music mixed with movie songs etc.

Towels and swimsuits are good too since you will be going in June.
