I asked the front desk what our room charge credit limit was, and he assured me that as long as you are under the limit, you don't have to see them daily to pay it off. We were on the DDP, so we only charged tips (which definitely can add up!) and miscellaneous, smaller items to our room. The larger purchases at the Disney stores were paid by my Disney VISA, because I wanted to take advantage of the 10% discount. I used my Disney GCs and the Disney Rewards card toward my room balance, and we only had a remaining amount of $80 or so to be charged to the CC on file.

Knowing our room charge limit ahead of time, we charge all of our meals and tips to our bands and then pay off the balance with our gift cards every couple of days. Been doing this for quite a few years now and it works out great .
