Disney Gift Cards

With the free dining action kicking in on the UK site this weekend I noticed you also get a $ 200 gift card.
What can and can't you do with this gift card?
I understand you can buy souvenirs, but what else can you do with it? Can you use is to book another trip? And can you pay for food? Can you also use it to pay for the tips at a TS restaurant?

I'm not even going to book this year , but I was just curious about the gift card and it's uses...
If there's another thread about this, just let me know.

You can pretty much pay for anything with the Disney gift Card! Put it towards another trip, park tickets, souvenirs, food, tips etc.! I am actually paying for my whole vacation with Disney gift cards! The only thing I have found that I haven't been able to use a gift card at is the walking vendors that sell things like balloons. But pretty much if they take a credit card payment, they will take the Disney Gift Card!
