Yes, just make sure you to the front desk the night before you are checking out otherwise they charge your cc. Of course, they can reverse the charge, but i think that takes like 3 days to clear.

You would need to do it sooner if your charges are close to the limit set for your resort. For Value Resorts, I think that it's $500. Moderate Resorts are $1000 and Deluxes are $1500. If your room charges reach that level, Disney will charge the card that you have on file and then reset your balance to $0. You can get the charges reversed, but it can be a big pain in the butt to do it.

thanks for the replies. So if I charge everything to the room (no dining plan) can I pay it down more than once during the trip?

You can pay every day if you would like. It does take some time to do at the desk, so I would probably do every other or every third day.

Yes. I am an early riser and try to go to the desk to apply gcs in the early morning when there is no line. That helps with time management. Don't get in a long line, it's not worth it.
