Disney gift cards

This is probably a stupid question but i was wondering if Disney gift cards ever expire... We probably won't be taking another trip for a few years but would like to purchase some gift cards to use when we book our vacation. Thanks

Pretty sure a federal law pertaining to this was put into effect as part of credit card reforms a few years back. I believe gift cards cannot expire any sooner than 5 years after purchase. Not 100% (check the fine print) but pretty sure that's what the law said ...

What you are wanting to do is what we do all the time! The cards never expire.
