disney gift cards?

I know this may sound like a stupid question but what can use disney gift cards for once you are at the parks. Can you use them for food and mechandise? TIA

You can use them in the gift shops at the parks and some of the food vendors accept them. I'd just ask to make sure. Gift Shops though for sure! I used one on the last trip I went on in the stores on main street at MK.

Not sure what you mean by "regular" stores -- basically, the card can be used at any entity owned/operated by the Walt Disney Company (WDW, DL, DCL, and their websites).

Yep. In general, anytime at Disney that you could use a credit card, you can use a Disney Gift Card.

basically I was asking if they can only be used at Disney related stores, not stores like walmart, k-mart etc.

I was hoping they could be used all over, and not just disney. But ok, then that is strickly vacation money then

It is a "gift card" for Disney, not a credit card. I used mine to pay off my hotel bill and paid for every meal with them, plus some
souvies.

Oh I get that. Its just that sometimes the visa Gift cards can be used anywhere. As well as i know that store gift cards are only used at the store. I was just making sure that this was a "store only" type card.
