Disney Gift Cards

I was over at the restaurant board and someone had posted a question about using Disney gift cards for meals. Disney has gift cards? Are these just for the Disney Store or can they be used at WDW? If they can be used at WDW, where can you purchase these? My birthday is next week and I'd love to request these to use while I'm there in November.

I posted the question over there about using Disney Dollars to pay for food, and i was told you could.. So, you could ask for those, which are available in Disney Stores. Also, i know when we were at WDW last yr, we got some gift cards, in downtown disney that are like any other gift card, only they are good for food and merchandise in WDW. They are available in any $$ amt.
I don't know if the Disney store sells those, i doubt it.
