Last time we were at Disneyland, gift cards weren't accepted at some outdoor food stands - like the fruit stand on Main Street. Has this changed? Trying to determine how much $ to preload on Target-discounted gift cards. Thanks!
I am curious too - this year I plan on giving my older kids their own gift cards so they can purchase souvenirs and snacks, so I am hoping they are accepted most places.

They should accept Disney gift cards if they have a regular POS system. I know the fruit stands do. It’s the moveable carts that may only take cash or credit cards.

This is a great plan - we do this as well. I recommended registering each gift card at disneygiftcards.com. That way, if your kid leaves their backpack (with gift card in it) in a bathroom, you can immediately transfer the value of your kid's card onto your card for safekeeping. If you later find the lost card, you can transfer the $ back This hack has saved us a few times!

The mobile carts also now have POS terminals and can accept Disney gift cards. I just used one the other day to buy a bottle of diet coke from a cart next to the Teacups.
