Disney Gift Cards Through AAA, Southwest, etc.

I searched and saw a lot of questions about where Disney gift cards could be used, but none that answered my specific question. Does anyone know if you can book a trip through a place like AAA or Southwest Vacations and use Disney Gift cards or the money from the Disney Visa to pay for it? The reason I ask is because I have had reward cards where you could do that (Norwegian Cruise Lines).

I booked through AAA a few years ago (2007) and was able to use DV points and Disney GC to pay my balance. You should check with them directly though to make sure.

I would imagine you could use them as forms of payment through AAA travel or Southwest Vacations, because these travel agencies deal directly with the Walt Disney Travel Co. (and are considered "authorized" travel agents, meaning they have access to certain things which others may not).

Always best to ask the people you are paying, first...
