Disney gift cards in the parks

Hi. This is probably a dumb question, but we really never have used Disney gift cards before. Do the snack carts take these in the parks?
We would like to give our kids a card since they are older and may go off on their own.

Most if not all snack carts take gift cards. Anywhere you can pay with a credit card, will also take gift cards.

Pop up stands that roll out that sell light up stuff for nighttime shows will not take gc or credit cards. They are cash only.

In general, if it takes credit cards then also gift card
