Disney Gift Cards in restaurants

OK, this is probably a stupid question, but here goes. I know you can use Disney Dollars at the restaurants, but can you use Disney Gift Cards?? I REALLY want to just buy one and have it to "charge" off of, but before I do that I want to make SURE I can use them at restaurants.

DH and I used our honeymoon gift card all over the parks, shops, restaurants, everywhere! The only place was had a problem was at the candy counter in Italy, and they were quite snobby about it. Other than that, it worked like a charm!

Thanks for the answer. That's what I thought. I imagine if you can pay at restaurants with a gift card, you will have no trouble using one to pay the tip. I know for a fact you can pay for the tip with a debit card, it would amount to the same thing.

FYI- I also have been informed that you can even pay for parking with a gift card, all the parking kiosks at the resorts and parks have credit card capability!

Yep, you can use the Gift Card for just a tip if you'd like.

We just returned from our honeymoon and used our gift card to pay for all of our table service and some of our CS meals. We never had any trouble with it whatsoever. No problems including tips, either.
