Disney Gift Cards~ available from Sunshine

I just noticed that Sunshine Rewards offers payout in $25 Disney Gift Cards.

Have any of you ever used these? How are they different from regular DDs?

I'm wondering if I cash out in this, would I be able to use it to pay against the cost of my Disney Cruise (rather than just as an onboard credit)?

Does anyone know???

Here's all the website says:

"...The Disney Gift Card can only be used at select participating locations at Disneyland® Resort, Walt Disney World® Resort, Disney Cruise Line®, Disney Store in the US, and Disney Shopping.com.

At the Disneyland® Resort, the Disney Gift Card can be redeemed at select merchandise, food, ticketing, parking and Guest Service locations, all well as Resort Hotel room nights. Not accepted or valid for use for room service or lockers. Not valid or accepted at Taste Pilots Grill, fruit carts, outdoor vending locations, third party lessees, Names Unraveled, Jewel of Orleans, Silhouette Studio, Portrait Artists, Parasol Cart, Heraldry Shop, Crystal Shops, Midway games, Face Painting, Disneyland Kennel Club, and Downtown Disney® District Operating Participant locations (other than World of Disney®, Marceline’s Confectionery, or the Pin Cart). Not accepted at Resort Hotel and the Downtown Disney® parking lots. Not currently valid or accepted for tickets, room nights and packages purchased online at Disneyland.com.

At the Walt Disney World® Resort, the Disney Gift Card can be redeemed at select merchandise, food, ticketing and Guest Service locations, select third party lessees and Downtown Disney® District Operating Participant locations.

Use the gift card aboard Disney Cruise Line®. The Disney Gift Card is not accepted at McDonalds®, Jellyrolls, Rainforest Café®, and the Richard Petty Driving Experience, and is not accepted or valid for use for payment of Resort Hotel room nights...."

I would be interested in hearing more about these as well because I would rather take a gift card than stacks of Disney Dollars when we go on our cruise!

Beginning May 1, 2006, you can purchase the new Disney Gift Card, which can be used at the Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Store locations in the U.S., Disneyshopping.com, and the Disney Cruise Line for shipboard account settlement. Last year, Disney introduced the Walt Disney World Shopping & Dining Gift Card, which was only good at select merchandise and food and beverage locations within the Walt Disney World Resort. This new Gift Card expands on that concept and is accepted at more than 1,000 locations as a form of payment toward merchandise, dining, recreation and for admission tickets when purchased at Walt Disney World Theme Parks. You can purchase a Disney Gift Card for any amount in increments from $5 to $1500. Most merchandise, dining and recreation locations throughout Walt Disney World will accept the Disney Gift Card. Notable exceptions are: McDonald's, Jellyrolls, Rainforest Café and the Richard Petty Driving Experience. In addition, some carts and other outdoor merchandise vendors may not be able to accept the gift card. Further enhancements to the Disney Gift Card are expected throughout May and into late 2006.

I saw these for sale in February, and maybe as far back as December. They were right at the registers, so I don't know where they got the 5/1 date.
