Disney gift cards at parks?

My kids were given gift cards purchased at local Disney stores for our upcoming trip. There is indeed a WDW logo on the back of the card. Can these be used throughout the parks? My one DD has a hankerin' for a sombrero from Mexico can she use it in the shop in Epcot? I just don't want to get down there and find out you can only use it at the World of Disney store or something.
