I never looked at the gift card rack in BJ's before this week. It turns out they sell Disney Gift Cards at my local BJ's in $25, $50, and $100 denominations at discounted prices. I don't remember the exact price of the $25 and $50 GCs, but I bought a $100 GC for $95.99 (non-taxable)
the 4% discount is not bad, and I love that they had $100 cards. Given I can't buy as many GCs as I would like via Target at 5%, this is a good find for me to help round out my GC hoarding for the upcoming trip. I
Yes, I pay $50 per year to shop there, but I pretty much make up that fee in weekly buys of land o' lakes cheese from deli alone!!
Yes, I have been buying Disney GC there for several yrs. for spending money for trips, giving kids each their own for the trip, and some for use for tips and OOP meal, as well as for bday/Christmas gifts for friends who are planning a trip. Weirdly, the $150 ones are the worst deal, as it is cheaper to buy 3 $50 or $100 + $50.
Totally agree that I save more than the membership fee in cheese and milk prices, plus using their coupons plus my own for great deals
