I never looked at the gift card rack in BJ's before this week. It turns out they sell Disney Gift Cards at my local BJ's in $25, $50, and $100 denominations at discounted prices. I don't remember the exact price of the $25 and $50 GCs, but I bought a $100 GC for $95.99 (non-taxable).

the 4% discount is not bad, and I love that they had $100 cards. Given I can't buy as many GCs as I would like via Target at 5%, this is a good find for me to help round out my GC hoarding for the upcoming trip.

Yes, I pay $50 per year to shop there, but I pretty much make up that fee in weekly buys of land o' lakes cheese from deli alone!!

Good to know! I thought they were just selling gift cards there. I had no idea they were discounted!

Thanks for the GC tip!

I agree what I spend in membership covers the land o lakes cheese cost, especially since my kids live on cheese.

HaHa , me too with cold cuts and cheese.

I will look for the cards tomorrow, great tip.

I"ve looked in our bj's everytime I go and have never seen them. I wonder if this regional or something new?

I often buy my gift cards at BJs and have never seen them there. Today while I was looking at cards, my DH found them there.

For our disney trips, I pick up Disney gift cards and save them. This wasy we do not come home with a bill! :goodvibes

I purchased a 50 GC for 47.99 today. It will be nice to start saving them for our cruise next year.

We seem to save a lot on organics like milk and veggies. Plus our Bjs has a gas too. My sister and I split the membership fee so it is a good deal for us.

Has anyone purchased Disney gift cards recently at BJs? If so what was the pricing? TIA

Probably very close to the OP's finding years ago. Ours just recently opened and I checked it out it was slightly less than the 5% discount I can easily get at Target instead. I can't remember the actual numbers but I know it was a better deal at Target.

I bought $100.00 GC at B.J.'s last week for $95.99. I also get 2% back on my Visa card for the purchase. Our store will only allow you to buy $300.00 in Disney gift cards per transaction.

I'm waiting for my Disney premier card to come in the mail and I was wondering if BJS qualified for the 2%.. While looking at the fine print it appears as though the 2% isn't everywhere ..
You sure about this ???

I'm not sure if you're asking about the 2% from Visa, yes with the Visa card we have.
$300.00 but you can do multiple transactions.

Yes, I was wondering if shopping at BJS qualified for the 2%
Thank you!

I'm curious about this too. It doesn't look like it is considered a grocery store, but it's hard to tell from the Disney visa statement. Guess I could just call and find out.

$25 gift card is $23.99
$50 gift card is $47.99
$100 gift card is $95.99
$150 (3 $50 cards) is $146.99

BJs also sells gift adds via their online site, and if you search for gift cards, one of the subheadings on the main gift card page is called "Extreme Values". These change from time to time and some can be 20% off (for example, currently Boston Market is on there with a 2 pack of $25 cards for 39.99). Coincidentally, the Disney cards are in that section now, but the only one that seems to be any less is the $100 card, for $94.99 instead of the 95.99 at the store. Shipping of gift cards is free too. And as was mentioned above, Chase Freedom has wholesale clubs as a 5% category this quarter.

Amex has an offer where they are giving a $25 statement credit for $100 spent at bjs. I had it on two cards so got 2 $100 Disney gift cards for effectively $150. I added a filler to reach the $100 threshold since they were $94.99. Awesome deal. Also Groupon has a deal for bjs. $40 for a membership and a $25 gift card. I signed my hubby up since mine expires in December. We do this every year to avoid paying a full membership fee.
Also bjs has the $150 gift cards which are awesome.

I do not have an AMEX card but my husband does. Can you post the link for the AMEX offer? or tell me where to find it please?
