Disney Gift Cards and World Showcase Restaurants

I tried doing a search and couldn't find an exact answer so here it goes:

Does anyone know if you can use disney gift cards to pay for meals at the table service restaurants in world showcase? (specifically san angel inn and via napoli) I know it says disney owned and operated locations but wasn't sure if the world showcase restaurants are considered under that clause. Thanks in advance for anyone that knows as this could really save us some money!
