Disney Gift Cards and Downtown Disney Merchants?

Do any of the merchants or restaurants in Downtown Disney accept Disney gift cards? Although we're regulars to DLR, I don't know the answer to this question and would appreciate your help. Hope everyone on the Dis Boards is having a great New Year so far!

Only the Disney owned places like World of Disney, Marceline's, D Street, Disney Pin Traders, whatever other Disney branded place(s) that is slipping my mind.

My kids discovered that Disney dollars are accepted at Build a Bear and the Lego store, so maybe some of the other places will accept Disney dollars as well. Disney gift cards though could not be accepted.

As Longtimedisneylurker stated, it's really only World of Disney and the few Disney-owned merchants that take them.

Also, bear in mind that the restaurants in Downtown Disney don't take them either. We're big fans of gift cards to help us stick to a budget, but I always keep some cash with me as well, for these various locations. Also, certain vendors for WOC don't take gift cards. You'll need to have cash for any of that, as I found out in 2010.
