Disney gift cards and dining

We are planning a trip for June 2017 and it has been a long time since we visited DLR. We were considering buying Disney gift cards to pay for our meals. Can anyone tell me if the dining locations in the parks and DLR hotels accept these as payment? Also, can you use starbucks gift cards at the DLR locations? Yes, Disney gift cards are accepted. They are not allowed at restaurants in DTD. I have used Disney gift cards at Carnation Café, White Water Snacks, Storytellers, Tommorrowland Terrace, just about any place in the parks that take a charge card. You can use Disney card in the park Starbucks only, but not the ones in DTD. You can use your Starbucks cards at all the Starbucks. You cannot redeem rewards at the Starbucks in the Parks, but you can at the one in DTD. You will earn points for your purchases in all parks too.

You can pay for almost anything in the parks with gift cards. There might be one or two specialty vendors who don't take Disney GCs but all restaurants within the parks do. Also the restaurants at the Disney hotels take Disney gift cards. FYI, if you are staying at a Disney Hotel you can charge to your room & pay off all your charges at once with your gift cards at the hotel.

Basically any Disney restaurant or store that take credit cards will take the gift cards. There are some snack carts in the parks that a cash only but other than those you are good pretty much anywhere in the parks or hotels. If you have a Target Red card or a Sam's Club membership you can get 5% off of your gift cards if you buy them there.

The magic shop, the midway games on Paradise Pier and Ghiradelli don't take Disney GC. We use them for our entire trip!
