Disney Gift Card Sale at Target

Just left target. Had to search to find the $25 cards and all signs said the $50 card only. But it worked. Plus I got the 5% red card discount. Bought $200 in cards, paid $191 on my red card. Got $20 in target gift cards. Guess what I'm doing all week!

I just looked at the website and unfortunately, Disney does not look to be part of this $5 gift card for 2 $50 card promotion. Darn.

UPDATE: Just left Target and it definitely is in the store (not online). My Target had no $25 ones so I had to buy the $50 ones (6 of them) but still thrilled to get the 3 $5 promo cards and the Red Card 5% discount.
Bought $300 worth - paid $285 - plus $15 in promo $5 cards. So really only cost $270.
Did I figure this correctly?

I had to really look for the $25 cards - and they had no sign they were on the promo. They weren't on the endocarps of each check out lane, but rather on a large gift card display in the middle. What a great deal!

Went back today to get more - hit 5 Targets and only got 4 $25 cards. LOTS of $50 and $100's but out of luck on $25's

I went to my local Target this morning. Only 1 $25 card there. A lot of $50 cards, and a few $100 cards. Shelf sticker for the deal only mentioned the $50 cards. Anyway, still a good deal. I used my Discover card which is giving 5% cash back on department store purchases.

Thanks for the heads up, guys. My store had lots of $25's. I bought 14. What I didn't get: buy 2 $25's, get a $5 target card, or buy 2 $50's, get a $5 target card. That was a no brainer; I bought the 25's.

Bought $1900 worth today, did not hit a limit.

Had to settle for a mixture of $25 and $50 gift cards. First Target had no $25 gift cards, and only about $800 worth of the $25 gift cards at the second one. Purchased the rest in $50 gift cards. Still a great deal

$5 promo should end by Saturday if it is like all normal Target promotions. Whether your local Target will restock $25 cards will be a different story...

You can use the $5 Target Gift Card on the next round of purchase. I did 8x$25 which netted 4x$5 Target Gift Card. Next round of 8 only cost $180 (use the 4x$5 from previous purchase). Rinse and repeat. Just don't piss off your cashier and/or the people behind you waiting to check out. Also remember your Red Card is only 5% off of $180 for subsequent purchase (since you are using $20 worth of GC).

I am planning to go twice a day until I get enough to pay off my annual dues. Lots of GC combining on the website. You can peel off the security code instead of scratching it off if you are careful. That save a bit of time for me.

The promo is good through Saturday, December 12. At least the one that is for the $50 gift cards, the one for $25 gift cards was last week, but some people are saying it is still working this week. My target does not stock the $25 gift cards, but I bought a bunch of the $50 today.

Yeah, I Just looked too. I used my redcard today for the ones I bought. If discover would qualify for the bonus that would have been even better!

Thanks for the idea of peeling off the label. I have a pretty big pile. Need to tackle them before dues are due! Might go back for some more later in the week.

Cleaned out my two local Targets of $25 cards. Was able to get 28 or $700. Need another $1,050 or so. May have to settle for $50's. I'd need 20 more $50's which is still $50 in gift cards.
