I see that Target is running a sale. Apparently, if you buy 2 Disney $50 gift cards, you get a $5 Target gift card.
Are these the cards that can be used to pay maintenance fees? And can be combined on-line to comply with DVC's new rule on using gift cards?
Seems like a good deal--for every $100 spent you get back $5 in gift cards and it can be charged on a credit card that gives back another 5%. So you get back $10 on every $100 spent.

Yes they are Disney gift cards (not Disney store gift cards) so they can be used for DVC dues or any resort/park expenses and yes they can be combined online-I think the max per gift card is $1000 so if your dues are high you will have to combine them onto more than 1 card.

Thanks for the info. Every little bit helps. I just wish the pharmacy discount would still work to add another 5% off.

I just looked at Target.com, and it looks like Disney gift cards are not included. :sad2:

I just looked at the website and unfortunately, Disney does not look to be part of this $5 gift card for 2 $50 card promotion. Darn.

In our local online ad, it is in the lower right corner of page 24.

Just came back from Target. Got the $25 on the same deal, so every $50 in Disney scored me a $5 Target. Spent $500 and left with $550 in Disney gift cards.

Thats good to know about the $25 cards. The ad shows the $50 cards I assumed you could only buy those. That makes a HUGE difference

It does...they only place it was posted was on a small sticky right above the actual card. Ad had only showed the $50 cards. It is a big difference!

How? You spent $500 and got $550 in DISNEY gift cards? I thought the $50 bonus would be in TARGET gift cards.
