Disney gift card questions

Are Disney gift cards reloadable? Our trip is in November and I was thinking about buying a couple gift cards for the kids to use throughout our vacation. Could I purchase say a $50 gift card for each of them now and then add to their cards or will I have to buy additional cards?

Also, do all Disney restaurants accept the gift cards as payment? We are staying offsite and planning on booking a couple meals throughout the week. If I can pay using a Disney gift card, I will try to purchase in advance and get discounts and have the meals covered before we get there.

You cant reload them AFAIK ( I've never tried) but you can use them to pay for anything in the parks from food to souvenirs. You can combine them on the Disney gift card website if you have multiple small ones.
