Disney Gift Card Issue on Shop Disney

Not sure this is the right spot, but has anyone ever had an issue using a gift card on ShopDisney?

Short story, I wanted to use up some of a Disney gift card we had left from our trip. I placed an order using the gift card and then get an email this morning stating "Unable to apply gift card #... for one of the following reasons. Used on a previous order; Unavailable balance; Not valid for ShopDisney.com purchases.

What?? I have more than enough balance and using a gift card previously or not for ShopDisney? Those reasons totally confuse me.

Has anyone ever had this problem before? I'm going to call when they open but I don't want the items if I can't use the gift card. That was the whole purpose of the purchase to use the gift card. Thanks for any insight you can share!!

Were you able to call to get this cleared up? Sometimes a vendor will hold an order to verify that you really are the owner of the gift card, i.e. to make sure that the gift card isn't stolen.

Sorry for the delay, work...Yuck!

Yes they did get it resolved. When I called they saw 2 numbers flipped on their side even though the email I got from them showed what my card read. I'll chalk it up to a technical glitch. They were super helpful and the pending charge on my CC dropped off and all charges went to the Gift Card.
