Disney Gift Card @ DTD restaurants

This probably seems like a silly/stupid question; I am just curious if restaurants in DTD (specifically Rain Forest or T-Rex) take Disney Gift Cards/Reward Dollars if they are not on the Dining Plan?

T-Rex didn't take our Rewards card last year. It may have changed since then. I haven't been back in awhile.

it really doesn't have anything to do with the dining plan. Restaurants that are not run by Disney can choose to participate in Disney's perks or offers. Landry's restaurants, which operates T-Rex and Rainforest Cafe, choose not to accept the dining plan except at Yak & Yeti. I believe they could also choose whether or not they'll accept Disney gift cards or reward dollars. Non-Disney restaurants outside the parks generally don't.

Don't know specifically about those two, but a couple of years ago, Bongos would not accept my Disney gift card.
