So this was weird. Two days ago I went to pay for a Disney gc at shopdisney.com. It kept adding $20 shipping for a $50 gc to be shipped to me. So I chatted with customer service and the rep said that maybe it was $20 to ship a gift card. ???? I had to tell her that it should be free shipping and that the website clearly states that. So she says she will have to look into it and submit a ticket with the IT department, that I should try to order an e-gift card. I do and it tries to charge me $10 s/h for that. . I tell the rep that and she says that she doesn't know what to do and I should try back later, but that it takes at least 2 weeks for a giftcard to arrive by mail. (this is not true, I've had cards arrive in as little as 2 days and at max 7 days. I live in the United States). So yesterday I order my giftcard without any issues with shipping costs added. I had cashed out survey money for a VISA virtual giftcard and used that for payment. I have bought giftcards at shopdisney.com this way at least 10 times before. This morning I awake to an email that my payment won't go through and to call them to confirm info. And now cs rep tells me that they will not take a pre-paid card for payment, that she is cancelling my order, and promptly hangs up.

Holy macaroni. This is probably a site error, so I don't know if it will go through. I just placed an order at ShopDisney (10% back on Rakuten, but not sure if that'll go through) for 40% off Disney eGift cards. I've already paid in full for my stay, so I ordered a $500 for $300. My credit card has been charged. Fingers crossed it actually comes through.
