Disney Gift Card Deals

Yes, the shipping definitely sucks, biting into my ebucks. Right now, the amount I have in ebay cards to use for churning, will still net me an okay profit, particularly with a 5x promo. So, most recently with GCM GS cards, I think on 10 cards ($1000), I spent 11.90 shipping (IIRC), so I'd get $10 in ebates, and $100 in ebucks, minus the 11.90. Still almost a hundred dollars free that I wouldn't have had. BB cards were better with no shipping, of course, but a direct way to Disney gc's. Now if I do that with the WGS's it'd cost me another $8, so a smaller amount but still profit. Certainly things were much better with the Target churning. The money I have currently in ebay cards I could either cash into Disney now and just keep it for my trips and be done. Or I could churn with a smaller profit, while I can still churn, using GS till that changes, WGC which is new, or BB depending on being able to get some BB easily or not. I figure I might as well keep working it while I can. I've put enough money out already so want to put out just enough on a bigger promo to still net more than I'd have if I'd done nothing. I don't have Krogers or rewards cards other than SW card and a Disney rewards card. And that and buying discounted Target would still require more cash outlay which would be more than shipping. Maybe my math is wrong but for me I think I'll still make more 'free money' spending a little more in shipping, but that's all the extra I'm spending. A small promo would definitely not be worth doing at all, so mainly 5x , maybe some 4x and a bit of BB gc's ocassionally if that works. I'll just have to keep working the numbers to see what's gonna work or not.
Have you checked out Hyvee's, I think there is one by you. I believe they have promotions from time to time for buying GC (including Disney) and getting 4x points for gas purchases.

Speaking of Walgreens, does anyone use their rewards points program? I just downloaded it and there's something on there about using fitness apps to get rewards points through Walgreens. Wondering if my daily walking/jogging routine can also go towards buying gift cards there. Anyone checked this out?

Yes, thanks for the reminder. Some guys I works with were telling me about this. They walk to the corner W on Fridays and the steps convert to a free tall boy (beer) lol. Which saves them about $10 over what they would pay at the train station.

Just wanted to say thank you to those in PA who posted that their GS stores were still accepting GC for eBay GC. We were visiting family in PA over the weekend and I was able to convert my last $500 back to eBay. One store I went to said I can only load $100 on the card but another store in a neighboring city had no problem letting me get $400 and most importantly the system allowed it. Here in VA the system no longer allows this kind of transaction.

Raise has a $2000 target gift card for 7.1% off if anyone is interested. It's the highest percent off I've seen in a while. Of course I just bought all the gc's I needed for the rest of my cruise payment a few days ago. They were 5.1% off then and I went through ebates to buy Disney gift cards on target so my total discount was 12.1% off. Just wanted to mention it if anyone needs to pay off a trip and still uses Raise->ebates->Target.

2% Ebates is back at Target .com. I haven't tried to see if I can still trick it into giving me cash back on a gift card + add-on item.

P.S. I also just placed an order for GCs+filler with Ebates activated. Will report back!

Just confirming that I only received Ebates cash back on the qualifying items, not on the GCs.

Oh, no I haven't! And you're right, we have a Hyvee about 5, 6 min away. I tend to go to Jewel and Aldi, since they are smaller, Hyvee is huge, lol! But, I didn't know that about the gc promos for the 4x for gas purchases. I'll have to have my daughter check into that for us as she goes there a lot and she and DF get much more gas than I do. Not really sure how it works though. Do you buy the gift cards, then get a certain amount off gas, like when they do the 'buy this product, get 10 cents off per gallon'? That probably sounds like a dumb question, but don't know anything about the 4x pts for gas thing. Looks like I may have to check out the Hyvee gift card section for deals! Thanks for that heads up, appreciate it!

I made a purchase on 7/15 for Disney gift cards and some glue sticks since they were on my kid's school supply list & I got cash back from ebates for the entire order. Strange. I went through the app on my iPhone. I guess it's working for some but not others.

I went through the desktop site on 7/17. No go. I'll try the mobile app next time, but I really hate shopping on my phone.

If you go this route, you can use topcashback to get a rebate from Raise. It's only 1%, but if you take your refund in an Amex or Amazon GC, they give you a bit extra.

I think top cash back maxes out at $1,000 of spending on Raise (lifetime). But it's still better than nothing.

FYI for anyone near a Kmart that allows GC to GC transactions, Cardency has a special on Ebay right now $44 for a $50 card limit 5. Since I'm in cash out mode anyway I took advantage.

Just came to report the Kmart deal with Cardency on eBay. I bought 4. 12% is a great deal! No shipping cost either.

did anyone else take advantage of the amazon deal a few weeks back where you bought a $50 gift card and got a free $10 credit? I did and I think they screwed up along the same lines as the game stop one where some people were getting $140 on their $100 CG. I just checked my CG balance and there was actually $30 not $10.

Thank you! I got 5 GC I need to start cashing out for our trip in October.

I came to report the Kmart cards, too. Just ordered mine with the rest of my ebucks.

Has anyone had success with GC to GC at an Allentown or Quakertown PA Kmart? I'll be driving through today and have some Sears GC to get rid of.
Looks like I'm too late, but I wanted to say I've used a Kmart in the Allentown area to convert to Ebay GC. Mine in NJ don't work so I need to do it on visits to my parents in the Allentown area.

FWIW, Swagbucks gives 2% at Raise, and can cash out to discount gift cards.
I have never been able to get the credit for my purchases from raise on swag bucks. It logs the "trip" but I never get credit. The swagbucks staff have no idea why
