Went to my local Walgreens this morning with a $100 gift card from SVM. Used it for $75 eBay gc plus other stuff I needed. My total was $110. No problem using the gift card. Putting that other $25 in my Kroger 4x fuel points fund. I'm encouraged that Walgreens might be workable in future. Kmart has been working for me too but Walgreens is closer and easier for me to stop by whenever. They have a few things I can get money back on using the ibotta app too.

Speaking of Walgreens, does anyone use their rewards points program? I just downloaded it and there's something on there about using fitness apps to get rewards points through Walgreens. Wondering if my daily walking/jogging routine can also go towards buying gift cards there. Anyone checked this out?

Same thing happened to me. I had 3, $100 cards that had a zero balance. Took 2 months to resolve because Ebay kept me in the run around. I was finally able to get it resolved through Ebay. Target actually called Ebay for me and kept me on the line whike they talked to a gift card resolution specialist. The lady from Ebay said I would have a resolution within 72hrs and receive a phone call. (After 2 months at this point) Well, 72 hours came and passed. No phone call, but I checked the balance on my cards to see if maybe the situation got resolved despite no phone call. The balance on all 3 cards was back and I used them right away. There is hope! This is the number that I used when I was in contact with Target. 612-815-5000. Good luck!!

Thank you, I just saw this. You have given me some hope. It is good to know that Ebay is the one that actually resolved it because so far I have had better interaction with Ebay than with Target. I am going to follow up with both Target and Ebay on Monday. I will use the balance right away if the balances get restored. Thank you so much.

Just did the Ebates BB offer. First purchased a $25 BB gift card at Safeway with my Amex Blue Cash Preferred card for 6% cash back, plus fuel point (worth 2% for me). Used the BB gift card to purchase a $25 Disney gift card. Because I've had bad luck in the past getting BB orders for gift cards to go through while paying 100% with gift cards, I added a pack of k-cups we needed for work and paid for that portion with my work credit card. I see the Ebates $5 bonus and the regular cashback are already in my account. Total comes to 28% in cash back on the $25 gift card.

I'm going to be content with these types of discounts going forward. The recent post from @BruinEd03 has reinforced my decision to steer clear of eBay churning using gift cards on a high volume, regular basis. I don't want to jeopardize my eBay and/or PayPal accounts.

Does BB&B sell third party gift cards online? Or are you buying a physical BB&B to convert in store? I looked but didn't see third party gift cards online

I am in their rewards program, but did not know about any fitness apps. I will try to find out!

Oh well I only had the $100 on my cards, but was able to covert mind with no issues. I did the BB ebates, but it wasn't showing last I looked. Also did the BBB , they didn't have any Disney, so I got a Starbucks. Also picked up a Walgreens to give that a try. Overall not too shabby.

Today I used my Amex offers and ebates to get $250 of disney gift cards from Best Buy, from which I will get $37.50 in statement credits and cash back. I also used my Joann offer with Amex to get a $50 best buy gift card which I will get a $10 credit for. I turned that into a $50 Disney card while I was at best buy. My BBB did not have any non-BBB gift cards, so I ended up getting kcups with my spend $25 get a $5 statement credit Amex offer.

Just got my $25 Disney card from Best Buy. Used funds that I earned through Swagbucks, purchased through the Best Buy website, got 25 reward points and $5.25 eBates plus 2x Amex points. Pretty pleased.

For those looking for CardCash reviews...

I used CardCash over the last few days for the first time. I think it was a sale on Target gift cards (6.5% off). I ordered a few hundred the first day, cards delivered within 15 mins. Flipped into Disney on Target fine. Next day I ordered a couple hundred more but $30 worth were empty. Applied for refund on those cards via my account & the refund was processed within 15 mins & hit my credit card the next day. (I was very happy with their speed as I've spent 30 mins on the phone with Raise & waited a week for a refund on empty cards before.) HOWEVER then I hit my problem. My next order was cancelled with no reason within 10 mins of ordering and the cards were put back on the website for sale. I tried another order on different cards & it was cancelled 2 mins later. Called customer service & they "had no idea" why and couldn't help. Said I should pay with PayPal because maybe my credit card company was denying the purchases. I wasn't about involve PayPal! I picked up the rest of what I needed from Raise at 5.1-5.5% off.

I would try CardCash if the discount was 6.5% again (just looked and its 4.1% now). Whether or not they will allow me to purchase again I don't know.

CardCash seems to be hit or miss. Many people have had good luck with them, but I didn't. Last year, I ordered $400 worth of Southwest GC but never received them. I contacted their customer service repeatedly with no refund. I finally had to go through my credit card to get the charges reversed. It was very frustrating.

Yes! Just what I'm talking about! I've spent a fair amount of time today trying to get my Garmin to sync with that Walgreens health thing for points and I just can't seem to get it to work. But it does look like you can enter your distance manually. You can do steps, miles, or km it looks like. It SHOULD be able to sync automatically. I had no idea I could use my exercise to buy gift cards! Bad news about the Walgreens option however, looks like you can only earn 1000 points per month, which equals...(drumroll)... One dollar.

I have my fitbit connected to my WalGreens Rewards. It was kind of complicated to get set up but now it works fine to record my points depending on how much I walk. It is a slow earner but I figured I might as well earn something for moving. And I looked at lots of other apps that are supposed to earn rewards for fitness. The WalGreens Balance Rewards was the only one that didn't charge me to use it.

Lol. The thread is very useful for non-ebucks as well. So many strategies and ways just to get discounted gc - end game doesn't have to be Disney .
I'm looking for a backup for when/if I max out my fuel points prior to trip and lose that 14% before I convert all my cash to Disney. Although if Kroger doesn't do a 4x soon it won't be an issue :/. I could definitely do Target-eBay-Walmart (ebucks promo) - Sams. Do private sellers accept Walmart gc?

FWIW I used PayPal for a transaction there with no issues. It's not like PPDG you're just buying something on a website with PayPal like any other site. Sorry you had issues though. I'm glad my 2 orders with them went through fine.

I stopped in to BB today and easily used a $5 gift card (from ShopKick), $10 BB Rewards certificate and a $50 BB card from PPDG and purchased a $65 eBay gift card. While we were there, DD13 found a gaming headset that she wants ($30) and she told me she still has $40 in birthday money leftover. I told her to hold off and we'd check it out online. Good thing we did! I went through eBates first and she actually found one that is normally $70 that is on sale for $40. I bought it for in-store pick up and we will pick it up this afternoon. Hopefully, the $5 in eBates bonus will credit.

I also used my new $65 eBay gift card and combined it with my $25 card I already had, plus my eBucks and I bought (2) $100 Walgreen's cards from SVM and (1) $100 BB card from PPDG. The whole transaction was flawless and I paid a whopping $0.98 out of my PayPal account. When the BB card shows up in my e-mail, I will print it out and take it to BB with us this afternoon when we go to pick up DD's headset. It is a different store than the one we were at this morning.

UPDATE: After waiting for 2 hours for my BB digital card to show up, I decided to check on the order. I can't really figure out what happened. When I checked out, it clearly showed my total due as $303.98. I between my eBay gift cards and eBucks, I entered $303 with the remaining $0.98 coming from PayPal. I got an order confirmation page and an email too. I went back to eBay and see that I placed an order for (2) $100 Walgreen's gift cards...and the Best buy gift card is still in my cart. I'm not sure how that happened, so I tried to check out again and got the "we don't recognize the device you are using" message. DANGER! DANGER! DANGER! I exited the window and I think I will hold off on PPDG....too much risk. I checked my confirmation e-mail and it shows the Walgreen's cards, but then it simply shows this:

That sure looks like an order confirmation to me. I did not receive any other correspondence regarding my order. It's pretty crappy of a seller to complete and confirm the sale, then just decide to not process the charge and throw the item back in your cart. What if these had been a gift? I would never have known that the order was never completed. Now, I need to figure out where my money ended up. It could be in eBucks or on the gift cards, or a combination of both. Even if nothing happens to my PayPal account because of this, I am really not thrilled with the service provided by PPDG and I doubt I will bother with them again.

Another update....
My bad...it dawned on me that I did a full reset on my browser (Chrome) and so I'm not surprised now that they didn't recognize the computer I was using. I went back and re-traced my steps. First, I clicked on the "View Order Details" link in my confirmation e-mail. It showed the Best Buy gift cards, but noted "Seller has not received payment yet". So, I logged back in to eBay and went to my cart to check out. This time, when it asked for the confirmation, I went through it with the text option. I had no problems. It confirmed my device and I was able to use my remaining eBucks and the balances from the gift cards. So far, so good. Now I will just have to wait and see if my card arrives before we have to leave.
