Disney Gift Card Deals

Start churning. I didn't receive any eBucks offers until after I had earned enough eBucks to cash out. (You have to earn $5 per quarter to cash out) You will only get the 2% back in eBucks until you get bonus offers... but that is 2% more than you would have had if you didn't churn.

Anyone else keeping the ebay page with the target gift cards up and refreshing it every so often? Hasn't helped, but I keep hoping.

Yep, me too. So far, not helping. I'm kind of surprised. I really did expect a restock by now.

IIRC they restocked that same day within hours of the promo dropping. Then it sold out again.

It seems to me like demand has skyrocketed for these Target GC only after that blog post went up on that website. I don't remember it being this bad even a couple weeks ago.

Question for those who churn GS. What do you use your power up rewards for? Mine are really adding up but not sure if I can use for eBay GC?

Do we have data on demand? It could very well be the supply was inadequate.

I've tested out the Gamestop Rewards redemption of Fuel Circle Card. I had to sign up and wait about a week for card. It looks like a regular gc but you can't throw it out. I used it at the Sunoco pump and it worked fine. I just reloaded it with $25 (27,500 pts).

I've been reading some relevant posts...curious about Kmart.... I don't go there too often but starting to consider it, from what I'm reading, they allow instore purchases of gift cards using gift cards?

I was not able to purchase a Gc with a GC in Kmart. The register wouldn't allow it.

I tend to agree that demand has skyrocketed as I don't remember a 3x promo selling out all denominations as fast as this one did, including since the 5k limit was lifted. Heck, not sure I remember even a 4x or 5x promo selling out all denominations this quickly. But like @havaneselover pointed out, maybe there was just less available in stock?? I've not kept track of those numbers.

For those that use BB, does it cost extra to get the loadable Ebay gift card? I'm looking to churn $650 in BB cards and am trying to buy the least number of Ebay cards.

But they used to sell out of $100s (before they had $150s) and it would take forever to restock them. I don't disagree that it makes sense that demand is increasing, but who knows what the magnitude of that increase is.

However, one thing I'm learning on this thread is logic doesn't always provide insight:)

So I guess Kmart gc-gc is a no go.....(?)
FWIW..... this is FAR bigger than 'disney churning' .... I've found info on the Target-Ebay-portals round in many other places, not related to Disney at all, and much of what I read agrees with the view that it's the lifting of how many you can now buy that really changed the game. That sounds logical to me.

Yeah, I was chuckling to myself this morning about how we used to not have $150's and $100's was our best so we jumped on that even on a 3x promo. Yesterday, once the $150's were gone, I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on the$100's b/c I only want $150's lol.

I agree, we just don't know how much the demand has increased. It *seems* like a lot but there is just no way to really capture that info.

I think Kmart is YMMV. I have not tried it but @DIS_MERI has success there. I think you would just need to try your store.

You can't use it for ebay gift cards directly, but I usually wait for a good trade in promo and buy a used game. Then I trade it back in the same day to a different Gamestop that has good return value. With the trade in credit, I'll pick up Ebay gift cards.
