have 3 ebay and 3 paypal accounts. Ebay #1 and Ebay #2 opened in my name before 2005 so I don't remember why I have both. Only used Ebay #1 up until last year. They shared Paypal acct until recently. Opened Ebay #3 and Paypal #3 in husbands name a few months ago.
Got a Ebay warning for buying DISCOUNT Target gift cards on all 3.

Interesting. I have one ebay account linked to my one PayPal account and my son has one ebay account like to his one PayPal account. We both took advantage of the $100 Target GC for $95 recently, but since we share a shipping address and a home network, I think we'll stick to just one of us taking advantage of any of these daily deals on discounted gift cards to be on the safe side. Doing a Google search, this seems to come up often enough that I don't want to risk getting my account suspended over an extra $5 or $10. This ebay to Target churn has been very successful for me so far and I'm really trying to keep a very low profile so that I can keep it going for awhile.

The uncertainly of not knowing for sure what triggered the warning makes it really difficult. I still hold my breath everytime I place a Target .com order for gift cards wondering if this is the order that will get me banned as a reseller.

I'm surprised that I haven't been banned yet. My Ebay and Paypal accts never work smoothly. And really, how long is target going to let us buy gift cards? My fear and greed is always in overdrive.

Question about purchase limits with eBay gift cards...I have a verified PayPal account so I know that's not my problem. Also nowhere near the $5000 limit per 6 mos. My first 2 purchases in Feb were with $900 in eBay gift cards and went through no problem. Today I tried to use $1050 in gift cards (for 7 $150 target cards) and even though I had the full amount in gift cards it would only put $50 of the available $100 on one of my cards. Is there a limit of $1000 in gc per transaction?

You're lucky you got that far. I hope that you can get it to work properly. Maybe take a gc off? After 2 days and a dozen tries, I finally got 2 separate $300 Target orders and 1 Best Buy gc. Tried to get 1 more order before the 3x Ebay Bucks expires.

So I just met my goal of 12,850 points on Mypoints. That's for a Staples gc. Too bad they don't have any Disney gcs since I haven't got one in about a month. I have lost sight of my goal.

We recently set up my wife's PayPal account and there was a list of about 5 things we needed to check off to verify her identity, including linking email, billing address, phone number, credit card, and bank account. If you've done all that, you should be good to go. I believe there's an icon somewhere on your PayPal home screen that should indicate 100%?
And yes, you can link any bank account that has the PayPal account holder's name on it.

Are each of your two PayPal accounts in your name linked to a different bank account and cc and phone number than the other and different than your husbands? Since I'm somewhat new to Ebay... Last week I had a 4x offer. This week I had a 3x offer. I'm wavering between just taking the 3x (which will be $36 in Ebay bucks) or holding out for 4x or 5x ($48 or $60). What are the chances I'll get a 4x or 5x soon!?

I didn't start till last ten days in January, first time churning at eBay. It was 4x. Next one came I think about maybe two weeks later and i decided to wait, and luckily I did because a week later I got the 4x offer! If u had fine the 3x I wouldn't have even gotten my cards in time to use and works have eaten up a fifth up of my Paypal limit and not gotten a great return. Then I received my cards and about nine days after the 4x, I got the 5x and I had to scramble a bit to convert to eBay cards Andi do the offer. So, was very glad I held off! Now have room for one more big churn before hitting my limit. So, my experience is that I did get the 4x and 5x that came out after skipping the 3x. Don't know the odds of getting next offer, but I've gotten all the offers this year so far, first 4x, skipped 3x, then 4x, 5x, and this weeks 3x I'm skipping. No real way to predict if I'll get next one, but feel chances are good as they've been pretty steady, so I'm being patient! Worked great for me before! Good luck deciding!

Thanks to whoever suggested going through my points for Target. I didn't want to do ebates anymore and so far so good with my points plus I got 1,750 my points after my first purchase. Only downside is it's one more thing to keep track of.

My wife's PayPal account uses her cell phone number (mine uses my cell; we don't have a landline), and uses a different credit card with the same billing address. We didn't link the PayPal and eBay accounts. I know eBay encourages this out of "convenience," but I've always just signed into PayPal each time at checkout.

I don't know if you can use two PayPal accounts with one eBay account. Maybe someone else can offer their experience. I do have access to my wife's new eBay and PayPal accounts to handle all the churning, so that's not an issue.

Ebay Acct #1 no longer has old bank acct attached. Ebay #2 & #3 has newly verified separate bank accts.
