I checked my paypal wallet today and under the "SHOP" tab it had a coupon for $5 off $50 at Target. I added a Disney gift card and checked out using my RedCard. The total was $42.50 That is a 15% savings. Anyone done this deal?

I hope my orders (6 of them) don't get cancelled.

Also wanted to add my thanks to you for posting this! I checked my Paypal account and also had the offer and did 6 orders last night after reading this and figured why not as I'm always buying ahead and love the extra savings.

I see the $50 Disney gift cards are out of stock at Target.com but I expected that to happen as many of you did, since the information was also shared on other sites with the coupon code and I believe it's on blogs out there. Not sure when the $50 cards will be back in stock as sometimes it's a few days, sometimes it's 1-2 weeks.

Has anyone received any shipping notifications from Target yet? In my experience (and I do this weekly it seems) it's about 24 hours later so just curious.

I have to giggle at Raise dropping to 1% and it's amazing the effect all of this can have on them. Cardpool is not my company of choice but 7% is nothing to sneeze at. Of course YMMV, but in *my* experience, they are very slow to send the Target e-gift cards out and with them "closed" over the weekend I know that's frustrating for those that have issues. I think I've only received the order within 2 minutes, one time and usually it's ok to wait, but waiting hours and some times 24 hours gets to be a pain. Hopefully the $100 Disney gift cards won't sell out also!

Well if we want this paypal deal to stick then don't go and place 30+ orders of $50 cards. Of course it's going to raise a red flag. Just do a couple each day.

Hello guys, I purchased 8 $20 target egift card from cardpool and it took 2hrs to deliver, I thought better to order small amount in case there is any problem, now I see the down side, one of the eight $20 does have full balance but cannot be added to my account or make payment when checking out. I already sent email to cardpool support but I am still a little panic here since I am not sure what Cardpool will do to help, anybody met this before? Could you please share how they solved it? Thanks!

Go to target on line and check the gift card balance. If it shows a balance then call Target gift card. I had the same issue. When I checked the balance on line it showd the $25 but it kept rejecting it when I would check out. As it turns out Target will deactivate a gift card if it is to old. The target rep just reactivated it with no problem.

I've had this same thing happen to me with a Target gift card.
So glad that Disney doesn't deactivate old gift cards!

Anyone know how long the $5 coupon is good for?

I purchased 16 separate orders and have the emails that they were successful going through, but each order says "processing." Do you think we're still safe if we ordered before they sold out?

I'm a bit worried they will reject me because I honestly could not answer one of the questions-- which of these streets is closest to you? I've lived in my house 12 years and have never heard of any of the streets they listed so I just skipped that one and answered the other two.
When I started the transaction I had five cards by the time I finished it was two cards. Hoping I get verified soon.

How did you get to verify? Was it online?

Some of my orders have shipped already, 4 I ordered early in the day and 2 I ordered in the afternoon..As far as Cardpool, I was verified yesterday afternoon and haven't heard a thing either. I did not wait to use their 7%, I bought through raise at 5% and the ecards were delivered instantly. I will use the cardpool gift card for more disney cards later or something else, LOL!

I didn't know the answer to that one either. I used Google maps and the "closest" was almost a mile away. The other 2 choices they gave me didn't come up anywhere near me. Pretty ridiculous question, it should be a cross street.

Same thing happens on a family members account, we're also guessing that's because it's a "business account"

No, Target will cancel an order if they want to.

I signed up for Cardpool last night, got the verification email within in minutes, verified by answering the questions then made my first purchase. Within minutes the gift card was delivered electronically. Super easy and fast for me.

I've been using Cardpool for quite some time now. When you first sign up, your orders come faster when the amounts are lower. I think I've purchased ~$3,000 from them over the past year and now my orders are delivered almost instantly.

The $100 GC are still available. Not as good of a deal...but less typing if using multiple cards for your vacation! I think I ended up getting 22.5% off my $50 GC and 16.75% off my $100 GC. Not too shabby when combined with the free dining discount...
