Sometimes meijer does giftcard deals where every $50 you buy you get $5 off your next purchase up to ten times. I did this last month and got 15 dollars off which is basicly free groceries I dont have to spend money on next time. I'd consider that a deal

I'm super bummed I missed out on this deal, but I got a $25 Disney GC at BB&B today with a $5 Amex Credit on $20 purchase. So I guess that's pretty good considering I have barely been able to get more than 10% lately.

Just wanted to give an update. I transferred the 150 card that I got for 90 to a plastic card as soon as I got it. I just received a phone call from shop Disney I let it go to voicemail and they said that it was a pricing error that occurred this morning they deactivated the card and took the funds away from the card I transferred it to. They claim my credit card will be refunded.

I'm just curious. What would happen if you decided to use the gift card on a purchase before they took the funds out? Would they just charge your cc? Just a thought.

I don’t think that’s right at all for them to take the money back. That was an error on their part and they need to acknowledge and honor it.

Last year when we went to the Halloween party they accidentally left “parade” viewing as part of the dessert party. They honored it for anyone who booked it before they could change the wording. I know this isn’t the same thing but I just don’t feel it’s the right choice on their part

I think this is a good reminder to everyone especially when buying gift cards from 3rd party sites like raise or cardcash that just because you transfer it to another gift card does not mean that they won't take the funds back later if it turns out to be a stolen gift card or bought with a stolen credit card.
