Disney Gift Card Deals

Thank you so much for that! I like how it totals up all the "Amazon" transactions or "Target" transactions in a set period of time. Kind of silly there's not some sort of graph that tracks your amount spent in the quarterly bonus categories though.

I totally agree, especially since they have the "spend analyzer" already for categories. All they'd have to do is modify that for the cashback quarter query and voila - instant graph.

Discover's fraud alert hoine must be going nuts with all the $270 Target purchases today. We called ahead but they said it is automated. We got declined our 2nd order and had to call.

Are we sure this will work on Disney GC's this time? I read on WDWMagic that Target GC's can't purchase "Specialty Gift Cards" anymore and that Disney is in that category now. Anyone know if that is true or not?

Doesn’t work online. Works for me in store. Could that change starting tomorrow? I guess so.

I decided to purchase the target gift cards. I am in Canada. I had them emailed to me so didn't have to worry about shipping and customs etc. It wouldn't let me use a Canadian Address so I used a US address , worked like a charm. I sure hope Target lets you buy Disney Gift cards because we don't have Target in Canada so I don't want to be stuck with a whole bunch of cards. I plan to drive to Buffalo next week and pick up my cards. The 10% off sure helps with our Canadian dollar being so bad.....

I've been to two Targets so far. Both had an employee in the self checkout area (not sure if that's always the case). One noticed me when I tried to ring up my 3rd gift card but let me keep the first two. The second noticed me as I rang up my second and stopped me. They originally thought I'd already bought two and we're going to make me go back and "return" the second. Glad I have so many Targets near me because they seem pretty vigilant about this today. Now I'm wondering if I'm going to get flak when I try to spend a bunch of $300 gift cards. I may break up my Disney cards into separate purchases/stores too just to avoid any hassle.

Currently at Target. Taking a break at the Starbucks. So far I have purchased 4 Target Cards at $300 each using a different credit card for each transaction.
1. Paid in electronics
2. Self checkout (attendant had to complete transaction)
3. Guest services
4. Normal checkout

I’m going to do one more at a different checkout lane, since I have 5th credit card to use. Then off to another Target to repeat the process (hopefully).

In case, you are wondering, the pharmacy can’t checkout the gift cards.

Has anyone been successful buying more than $300 worth in the stores?

I was able to buy 3 $300 gift cards right after each other. All separate transactions. The employee didn’t have any issue with it. I used the same credit card as well.

DoC always posts a link that shows how far you are on Discover cashback. I can't for the life of me find it from my account though. I always just end up searching the DoC site.

It's always included when they do the rundown of what the new quarter categories are on different cards.

It literally doesn't exist unless you have the link :) I'm sure there's a footnote somewhere in some fine print that will link to it, but it's not within a 15 minute search.... even if I search for the page I don't get a result and it's not listed in the site map. Now I'm curious to find it, but it'll have to wait until a night with nothing better to do. Thanks for pointing it out!
