Disney Gift Card Deals

I noticed during a morning Target run today that another one of my nearby stores put up a sign saying No Gift Card activations at self-checkout. Seems to be spreading in my area.

P.S. Given how really good Target gift card deals are hard to come by these days, it's not a big deal for me.
Just checked my target this morning. They still have the same signage about no alcohol, but nothing gift card related. I pick up a $50 Disney and paid with a few target cards I had been holding onto and they went through fine so it looks like the system still allows it. I'm in Indianapolis for those curious.

I don't think it's a matter of whether the system allows it but whether the store does. One near me, south of Seattle, doesn't keep the Target cards at the self check out any more so if you buy something that triggers a $5 gc back you have to get someone to help. The problem is there's no sign about this and it was a total pain. I will wait in a regular line with these type of deals, at least at that store, going forward.

Not Disney gift cards, but Safeway has an online coupon for 20% off of gift cards for Gap, Old Navy, and Banana Republic. Great for picking up a few new things for the trip!

I went back to BJ's yesterday and purchased 24 more $100.00 gift cards, the manager price matched the online price.
I payed off my balance..Thanks everyone for your help.

I've never had luck with them price matching their own website, unfortunately.

Just got my worst Ebates check to date: $9.54. Gone are the days of $100-$350+ checks! How I miss those churning days  Now I'm happy with anything over 10% off a Disney Gift Card (vs.30-40% or more if I took my time!). Luckily we don't have any big trips planned for about a year and a half but this stings! :charac2:

So sad! I was just thinking the same thing. Mine is $5.50 this time.

I've resigned myself to a simple 6.5% off with BJs + my credit card, potentially 7.25% depending on how I redeem my credit card rewards. It's become too much effort to squeeze more than that out of them for me. (I'll also use any amex offers that will help- Office Depot here I come!) Oh for the Target gift card + red card days! *sigh*

Slightly off-topic...

Anyone have experience with the shopping portal Yazing? Have you been paid? If so, how long did it take?

TIA

I totally forgot that Ebates is issuing soon so I checked. $159.65 this quarter thanks to some large purchases timed to high cash back days!

I noticed Target dropped their Ebates to 1%. I miss the old days of making money with the same money over and over. I spent way too much last quarter.

Speaking of ebates, I notice they're having a birthday celebration today by offering 15% back at a lot of stores. I didn't see any that would allow cash back on gift cards, but y'all let me know if you see any that would!

I saw staples. Didn't staples give ebates last time Amex had a staples offer and people used it to buy Target egift cards? I seem to remember being surprised that it worked.

I remember that coming up in the conversation here but don't remember if the ebates credited or not. Because of course I only remember things that pertain to me at that precise moment.

I keep trying to access Staples through Ebates, but I get a message from Staples basically saying that they are experiencing high server traffic. Anyone else?
