I wouldn't mind going to BJ's route, but right now I have a bunch of walmart gc's (1 I got from a bunch of items we returned at Christmas. and then 2 others I cashed out from Swagbucks). We don't shop at Walmart that often ad I'd rather use them towards our next trip.

Did you buy Disney GC's with Walmart GC's? I returned a computer - unopened and they would only give me a Walmart GC. It's not my favorite store.

I just loaded the Kroger digital coupon for 4X gas points with gift cards, the fine print says "when you buy a participating gift card" and to see store for details. does anyone know if Disney GC is included?

I did this tonight at an Office Depot. They did have signs up though. They just have one gift card rack and the sign was above it. I didn't buy anything other than a $100 Mastercard gift card and when she first told me the price, she said $105.95. I just said I thought that was part of the promotion and when she hit another button, the price went down to $85.95. I'm not sure if she hadn't hit the total button yet or what.

The store I was at is about 20 minutes from my house, so I can't just run in every day to get one and I felt kind of funny getting more than one. Maybe I'll think of some reason to have to go back to that area again this week .

Edited to say that I'm in the St. Louis metro area.

FYI I grabbed two from my local one and asked if I could split it into two payments. The cashier said sure. I'm in the Central Illinois area.

Re the Amex gift card offer for $10 cash back...I bought a $200 gc yesterday through Swagbucks and so far it appears to have gone through ok with both 1% sb and the $10 back. Sb are listed as pending, and I got an email on the $10 back saying I'll receive it if my purchase met the offer terms. I couldn't use both codes for shipping AND fee so I just used free shipping which was the better deal. If the $10 back doesn't work I'll actually lose 1.95. I guess this was a bit of a gamble. Oh well!

I haven't used them personally at walmart for disney gc's, but I've heard others having success. My plan right now is to use them online at Sam's Club to get a bit of a discount.

What do you do with all of your Disney Gift Cards after transferring the balance? I've been combing my gift cards using the Disney Gift Card site and have a hefty stack of $0 balance cards.

I've written dollar signs with a sharpie on the few that have value, and those are now $1k each.

I keep all (not just Disney) of my $0 balance gift cards in a shoe box, just in case. This has proved useful in the past when problems have arisen with a transaction.

Brain fog moment: If I can get the OfficeDepot Mastercard deal, what are the options for where can I go to use those cards to purchase Disney cards? Anywhere that accepts Mastercard? Or is it tricky because the MCs are like 'giftcards'?

I would say anywhere that accepts Mastercards. These cards have a pin # on them, so they run as debit (or you could run them as credit if you wanted). I did exactly what a previous poster did and went directly to Kroger and bought Disney cards there. I did change the pin (call the 800 # on the card) because I'm paranoid about fraud. At Kroger, I used each $100 Mastercard to buy a $100 Disney. Nice that they are doing 4x fuel points right now.
