I want to buy a Disney gift card for my upcoming trip of $500.00, isn't there some kind of thing at Target where you get a percentage? Any help would be appreciated?:)

5% off if you have a Target card. Some people have increased the amount back by combining w/pharmacy rewards, but I don't know how this works because we don't have a pharmacy in our Target.

If you order online through ebates, you can get a little bit back that way, too...It's somewhere around 2 or 3% extra.

If the search feature is working here now, you can search this site and find lots of info on Target redcard discounts....this topic is posted about every 3-4 days.

If you have a target red card you can save 5%. They only sell $50 cards so you will have to buy a few. You can apply for the credit card in store or you can take a blank check and get the debit card in store. You can use your account immediately, but with the debit card they may limit your amount of spending until you build history. If you sign up for the pharmacy rewards you can earn an addition 5% for every 5 RX you fill.

If you have a Target redcard (either debit or credit) you get 5% off. Target carries $50 gift cards, so you would get 10 of them and pay $450.
If you sign up for the pharmacy rewards, you get a 5% savings certificate after filling 5 prescriptions. You can use that at the same time as your redcard discount for more savings. In July, if you sign up and fill ONE prescription, you get a savings certificate mailed to you.
The redcard discount works both online and instore, but the pharmacy certificate won't give you a discount on Disney cards online - just in the store.

Actually, you'd pay $475 with the 5% target red card (and a little over $450 if you combine the 5% red card and the 5% pharmacy rewards certificate [they stack but you don't get 10% total, more like 9% or so). So many people have posted about problems with the debit that if you can, get the credit card (and then go to guest services to pay the charge right away).

You're right - sorry for my flubbed math! Thanks for catching it.
