Disney GC for hopper passes????

Does anyone know if the GC's you can buy online at disney can be used to buy park hopper passes?

I would call your local Disney Store and ask if you can use the gc to purchase park passes. I called mine and asked and was told yes, but before I actually purchase them I'm going to call and get the name of who I ask. I wanted to get the points thru Mypoints, I'm working on my husband to purchase them early to get double points. I would get 2000 for my purchase...not too bad.

Wow, I never noticed the Gift cards at the bottom there.

Does any body know if you get points(MyPoints) for buying the gift cards? If so I will be calling my disney store to see if they take them for park passes.

2 adult plus 1 child AP w/ dc discout is about $1000. That would be 2000pts, plus they are doubled right now = 4000 pts. WOW.

Plus $10 cash back from my Credit Card.

Thats a no brainer.

But I thought I read somewhere that you dont get points for Gift Card purchases please tell me I'm wrong.
